what engine do you have? and what throttle body has a hole on top, are you talking about the map sensor hole or something?

got a d15b and in the throttle body when u take your air intake off there are to port holes inside it and if u put ur finger over the first one it will idle at 1000 but if u dont got ur finger over it then it idles at 2500...

Code 7 is a bad TPS or the wiring to it. If you had the TPS off its possible the tab is not inside the prongs. This my brake the sensor.

when i put the voltmeter to the wiring it all has power but if i turn the ignition on and move the tps then it will not read anything... so i am thinkin the wiring is good but i dont know about the tps is it supposed to give me a reading without it plugged in and the ignition on?

If you're sure about the wiring its a bad sensor.

If your Tps isnt adjusted right it will NOT throw a code.

What exactly are you trying to fix??? If its your IDLE that your trying to fix, fix it with the Idle screw. Also check to make sure the throttle cable isnt making the throttle plate stay open! As in adjust you throttle cable with the nuts that are on it! Hope that helps

Is your wiring harness stock, untouched? Was the wiring changed at anytime?

Lowering an idle by putting your hand or finger over something indicates a vaccum leak.

Im sure they unbolted the tps to ship it. Are you sure it was installed correctly? If the tab from the tps is NOT inside the 2 prongs on the throttle body it may have broke the sensor.

It happened to me once
