Default Random Speedo Issue

On my way to school today I was cruising on the highway at about 70mph sitting at ~3K. Traffic started to speed up a bit, so I did too...75mph I was sitting at 3,250K, and 80mph at about 3.5K.

I slowed down, then sped up again....I was supposedly doing 90mph at 3,250rpm's. Aside from that, VTEC is engaging at 6K (ecu is set to engage at 5.5K), the CEL shift-light is set to engage at 8,000rpm's, but I didn't see it and I shifted at 8,200rpm's. I doubt this has anything to do with it, but my subwoofer in the back of my car was constantly firing even though there was no music being played (you could notice it, but it's not like it was slamming or anything).

I'm running a '94 GS-R in my '94 hatch on a chipped P28 phearable.net ecu.

EDIT: The only things that I've changed recently on my car was replacing my test pipe with a high-flow cat (last week) and a new gauge cluster at the beginning of December (the old one wouldn't allow me to rev past 7K for some unknown reason...I put in the new one and everything worked fine).

GS-R engine and transmission

Whenever it was going "90", I let off the gas and the speedometer dropped drastically faster than the RPM's.

Does anybody know if all B-series VSS are interchangeable (GS-R to B16 mainly)?
