Default H23 Compression Test

The other day I did a compression test on my H23a1 motor (w/ about 190,000 miles) and came out with the numbers 190, 220, 220, 220.

I read in other threads that the compression numbers should be about +/- 10 within each other. My engine runs just fine but I just keep thinking about that first cylinder (190).

Are these healthy numbers and should't worry about the first cylinder? Are there any additional tests I can do without taking off the head; perhaps doing a valve adjustment? (Haven't had one since I got the car 6 years ago)

28 psi max....Mine is still 30 psi. Or should I not worry about it?

when something is usually out of tolerance you either fix the problem or acquire a newer motor...

you can still drive your car but you will eventually need to change out the motor...

I wouldn't worry about it unless you have $$ to fix it now. Just keep it in mind, and check it again every few months. If you have had car for 6 years and haven't done a valve adjust ment, you NEED to do it now.

Yeah, and knowing that, don't beat the **** out of it AT ALL (not saying that you do)

Its deffinitely not the end of that motor's world just yet, so if you maintain it properly and don't stomp on the gas at all, it will last *probably without incident.

A valve adjustment would be a good idea if it hasn't been done. I thought they were part of routine inspection, but having it part of maintenence would be more realistic.
