Compression test on a H23
I going to be compression testing my 93 SR tomorow and was wondering what kind of numbers I should expect? also how far off can one cylinder be without having to worry?
all of your numbers should be within 10psi of each other, i cant remember what 9.8:1 compression yields but im thinking 190ish? Im sure someone knows...
well, mine had 100k miles on it when I did mine a few months ago, and I pulled around 160's; people said that was alright for my motor, but I couldn't get a web page to show what the numbers should be.
RESULTS:
Cylinder# 1 2 3 4
PSI 210 210 213 212
w/ cap full of oil droped into cylinder
Cylinder# 1 2 3 4
PSI 260 250 245 245
So does this mean I my seals are gone?
