my project is a b20b non vtec, but i have the vtec head SIR, i bought the vtec kit conversion, intake manifold Skunk2, Fuel rail AEM, fuel regulator, RC injectors 310, Air Intake K&N, Header OBX 4-2-1 and a p28 ecu

im thinking to buy a set of pistons rs machine, conection rods eagle h beam and a block guard

some one with experience in this engine (b20) give some advice for my project, thanks

 

what are your plans for the car? turbo/ all motor? also, a block guard is a waste of money.
if you plan on building the bottom end you might wanna get an ems like hondata to tune it, a chipped P28 isn't gonna do the trick. ive heard bad things about the aem fule rail as well but i guess its all about preference.

my suggestion: forget the B20 bottom end and get an LS (B18B) bottom end... CTR pistons, B16 head, Type R cams (CTR or 98+ITR) valve train, retainers... pretty much a Type R head and B16 tranny. Get it tuned on Hondata and you'll have a nice/ fast setup with all factory Honda parts. Just my $0.2

 

im thinking all motor , maybe ill buy a hondata s300, but first i want to have all before make the program

im thinking run high 13' in 1/4 mile, i dont know if ill but i will try , i wanna make the time with radial tire

 

yeah well that setup that i listed might get you into the 13's.
