i got in my car today after the thunderstorms we had in NJ and noticed i had a wet passenger side rear seat. I'm assuming its the sunroof drain on that side of the car, having never cleaned a sunroof drain before i was wondering where it ended, and any other ideas as to the source of the leak would be helpful too
I had this happen to me a while back. The drain hole is behind the rear bumper just below the quarter panel. So you would have to remove the bumper to get to it. But I just opened the sun roof and poured hot water (not boiling but close) on the track. I also had my car parked on an incline to make sure the water went back toward the clogged tube.If works you should see water running out of your bumper just behind your rear tire.
Get some water in there and blow it out with an air hose... try not to use full pressure to avoid blowing the hose off the fittings. That more than likely won't happen, but its best to play it safe.
You might also want to look at your sunroof pan... last week I found this:
That just cost me 250 bones from honda
