Default weres a good place to find a tranny fo the Si?

cause i went to the dealer cause my tranny gopt messed up and the warranty wont cover it. So i need to get a new one i rather do that than pay the $6000 that they told me it would cost for them to fix it

K trannies are very expensive, even used ones. good luck with your search. by the way, if one might ask, how did you brake your tranny?

well i found one for 1500 on ebay....and they say it got broken from one of the gears and then the broken gear messed up the rest of the trnny cause i was racing the car and it broke from launching cause of the tq ..even doe i havent had ran the car for like 6 months before it broke..i think it the reason y the tranny broke and the gear got more messed up is cause once the tranny started making noise i keep on driving it cause i was by my house when it happend and i decided to drive it home for like 6 mins and cause it was already broken and i keep on driving it home it got even more messed up...but watever im not even gonna argu with those people cause all they gonna do is say im lying and not gonna wanna pay for shti even doe im spending $27,000 making business with them so fukc it imma just buy a new one and take my business some where else

So even after you heard your transmission making a bunch of noise you still continued to drive it? Your an idiot, you get what you deserve, dude

IIRC the Si is the ONLY k series tranny here that is 6 speed with stock LSD, so you'll be limited. You could get a JDM R tranny, but it seems kind of silly.

Try haprecycling.com, they have the largest supply of Honda/Acura parts in the US I think, you may save some money going through them.

I suggest you buy a factory Tranny from an on-line shop and have them ship it to you. You can get a factory new Tranny for $2,700. Labor to install is 8 to 10 hours, so figure $800 to $1,500 to get it install. That is hella cheaper than $6,000.
