93 Accord suspension squeeks question
I'm sure this has been answered over and over. I replaced the shocks, but it still squeeks and groans over bumps and dips. Is it the swaybar bushings? The link on how to lubricate them by Redneck Dave no workie.
It's most likely the bushings. Raise the front or back (depending which one is squeeking) remove the 2 bolts holding the bushing bracket. Clean the swaybar. Clean the bushing. spread some white lithium grease.put it on. And spray with silicone spray on any suspension parts.
Okay, thanks for the tip. They all squeek! If I've been driving in the rain for awhile, they stop.

Sounds simple DIY, but I am new to Accords. Is there a link (w/pics) that show the procedure and the places where to add the grease?
As 'atarasi' said, the link posted by 'Redneck Dave' doesn't work.
Thanks!

i have the same issue with my 92 accord ex-r and so does my brother with his, same model and everything. mine has been in to the mechanic and had it's front passenger ball joints replaced but with no ending of the squeek.
with the hood open i listened while i had a friend turn the wheel back and forth, and it seems to squeek from under the passenger side of the motor, and loud as ever.
i've read that if a boot has even a pin hole that the grease could drain and that would result in squeeking but I can hardly imagine my mechanic ignoring holes in my boots.
help!
