Oil light stays on
I recently bought a 2000 Honda Prelude, and the next day the engine blew. Long story short, they replaced the motor but when I was driving it home the oil light came on. It's not flashing or blinking, it just stays on constantly. I've been checking my oil and all other fluids and everything is perfect. I want to get it taken care of asap, but where should I start? Any suggestions, pics, diagrams would be great. Thanks in advance!
It's a 2000 SH
If I didn't have proper oil pressure somewhere wouldn't I know? The car runs fine, vtec works fine, and the level constantly stays where it's supposed to. I just don't want to keep driving it and really expletive something up....again.

The problem is most likely an electrical one if the the oil level is ok. But then again, there's a small chance there could be a problem with the oil pump or some thing blocking the oil pickup.
The best thing for you to do would be to verify the oil pressure, but unfortunately that's not easy with an SH. The helms says to remove the ATTS until to connect an oil pressure gauge, but I think you may be able to without doing so if you first remove the oil filter.

If vtec works you must have sufficient oil pressure. They probably didn't connect the wire, or the switch was damaged during the swap.

Yea that's what I was hoping. I went to pick up the car and about 50 or so miles into the drive back it came on. The switch or sensor is located right behind the oil filter right? Little plug looking thing with a wire connected to it?
Yea, right below the oil cooler on which the oil filter sits. Remove the oil filter and see if you can get to it. The helms says that to to do any work in that area other than just changing the oil filter you need to remove ATTS, in an SH. That's a serious pita though.
