Headers or VAFC?
Im in a great predicament, I have two great deals, and I dont know what to do.
The first is the Apexi VAFC. I know it wont do much since I have an 04, but I figure I could see 4-6 hp gains, 2-4 tq gains, & better fuel economy if tuned correctly. I do understand we have a learning ECU which will compensate for these changes unless reset. Though Ive heard at WOT 80%+ it does not "learn" and adjust.
The second is the Megan Racing Header. Ive heard so many diffrent things about these headers I dont know what to belive. Some say power gains, other say you lose some low end. Ive even heard they're just light replicas of the stock. Regardless I think it'll make a great addition to my 63mm T1R test pipe & 63mm Apexi WSII cat-back. Maybe these three together can show some improvement in power.
So let me know what you would do, or what might be the better choice, Im making my purchase tommorow after noon, 01/10/2008
THANX!
BTW anybody know the size of the outlet on the megan header?

That's cheap, buy them both. If you can't afford both, then you shouldn't be modding the S.

Neither will give you much. But if you want more the vafc is the better bet. But will cost more in the long run due to your need for some dyno time for tuning.

Student loans, car payments, insurance, gas, & food would leave most broke. I try to save money and buy things when I can, no need to say I shouldnt be. I do what I could.
As for the VAFC, I too see it as a better oppertunity, I cant see the S2000 headers being any diffrent or better then stock other then less weight.

Even more the reason you shouldn't be modding the S.

Would you have the money to replace either of those if it happened out of the blue? Or would the S be down for a couple weeks while you wait for your paycheck?
And fully agree with being to late. Nothing wrong with having the car. You can obviously afford it, might be a bit hard but you can do it. But modding is a complete different story.

Hey if it came to that, the money I have saved would go there. Plus my parents are really supportive. If need be they'd lend me the money.
Bought the InLine kit and made some changes/additions to it: GT3076r, 3mm head gasket, 675cc injectors, AEM EMS, Koyo radiator, Samco radiator hose, Spec clutch. Just to name a few.
Thats cool bro. well hey thanx for the input, im either gonna get the VAFC or stay the way I am for a while to save money for a turbo. Originaly I thought N/A but with these new 350z I gots to upgrade!
