Or people can stop buying cheap *** parts for their S2000's like they are a Civic. Save up your money and get a worthwhile header. None of them really give that great of gains, but I just don't trust that Megan/DC **** being on a $36,000 car. Berk's and Rick's headers are only $250-$400 more expensive.

I'd rather leave stock on than put a Megan or DC header on my car.

^^^x2

but I dont think BERK is that bad. We installed one on my buddies 03 AP1 and I felt a difference we raced once and he started pulling on me from around 6-7.5k after 7.5 he couldnt pull on me anymore. We also had the same mods exhaust and tp. But I had the first generation K&N intake dont really know if it gives any hp gains.

I dont know about the DC sports header, I heard you actually loose power. Ive seen dyno's with minor gains, about 2-6 hp for the megan. && Im sure you cant get much more then 8-10 hp from a header, so is the extra $500+ worth it. I will say rick's header is a great deal BTW.

Would you have the money to replace either of those if it happened out of the blue? Or would the S be down for a couple weeks while you wait for your paycheck?

And fully agree with being to late. Nothing wrong with having the car. You can obviously afford it, might be a bit hard but you can do it. But modding is a complete different story. </TD></TR></TABLE>

haha been there done that. im still paying my dad off from the last diff

niether.

stock s2k exhaust is designed very well already.

VAFC is good but only in open loop. closed loop, it will be same as stock.

Well the new Berk DUAL exhaust gained 8whp pretty much everywhere on a completely STOCK S2k.

That's probably the biggest gain from putting any exhaust on any kind of Honda possible.
