Default plug turn to white

i only ride b16a with basic mod... i'm running in +-12.8 afr at wot with oem header and the plugs tip were good... tune with vafc2... recently installed limit-ax header and remove the back muffler... the response so good especially after vtec engage... yesterday while changed the engine oil, i felt to check the plugs and surprise all the plugs tip turn white... is this happened caused by the header...? can somebody explain how this happened...?

from my point of view the combustion chambers becoming dry because of vacuum decrease when the size of header increase... then the combustion chambers turn hotter... and plug tips turn white...

need some opinion from u guys...

sorry my bad english...

if the car sat for awhile idling before you turned it off, or while u were just slowly backing out to change your oil it'll happen. Spark plugs change color/charistics quickly, they'll take on the change of AFR just like that.. white is good if its idling, means its lean, should be around 14.5~14.7AFR if your tuned for your idle.. if your that worried, go down the street, make a fully wot pull to redline and shut the car off right away when ur done..then pull the plugs.see what color they are..

i did increase fr pressure twice... 28-30psi... the plug tips at no4 cylinder turn to brownish (darkest) but no 3 2 1 become lighter... no1 (lightest)... again increased the fr press 30-32psi... its happened like before (30psi) but no1 tips got even worse... brown little bit white... why...? is that probably injector no1 fail...? any suggestion fr pressure, do i have to increase the press...?

i'll try as u wish... (make a fully wot pull to redline and shut the car off right away)... dyno n wideband facility are too far and i've got not much time...

First off, stock
FPR should be pushing around 38~40psi of fuel, thats what i THOUGHT was the STOCK fuel pressure, if thats is the case your leaning the expletive out.. you need to find the STOCK fuel pressure for your car and run that.
Secondly going above the stock fpr for a minor bolt on car is worthless and puts more stress on the injectors and what not..
1) Put your Fuel pressure to stock pressure
2) make your WOT pull all the way to redline and dont even let the gas out, turn the car off and coast until you can pull over safely.
3) pull the plugs and see how they look, if you got spics of white ****, you got problems, if they're brown/block or even a little white, your fine.. its tipical.. for a vtec controller car.. those things do ****.

This is what us yamaha banshee guys do to set up our WOT fuel requirements, I don't see why it would'nt work on a four stroke engine....

i dont think you should go through all the gears WOT maybe just 3 gears (for safety purposes) but you get the idea..
