Default Wiseco Piston Ring Problem...

I ordered new rings and they sent the following...the package says 3189XC, which are 81 mm and when I look them up it's a Kawasaki/Yamaha application. According to the Wiseco website, the K566M81 pistons use 8100XX piston rings. Are they the same/correct?

What is the differance between 3.189 inches and 81mm? This should answer your question.

The XX set has a higher tension oil ring than the XC set.

Depends on the tension you were looking for. Did you want 7 or 9 lbs,? How many mm is 3.189 inches?
