Default Problem possibly linked to VTEC Solenoid.

Here is my issue...

Got a B18C (SiR-G)
255lph fuel pump
B&M fuel regulator (set @ 50psi)
P28 chipped ECU thru Phearable
VTEC preesure wire jumped to VTEC solenoid

When I drive the car and hit VTEC (5,600 rpm), it goes in. But, somewhere in the VTEC range it cuts out. Its not always the same RPM. Or atleast something cuts out. I lose power, and then it might cut back in again. The sound actually is different when it happens, almost sounds louder too. Before I started tearing this thing apart like a mad man on crack, I wanted to get some people's opinions on where I should focus on. Figured someone might have experienced this before.

Help me out here!

as said check gaskets on VS and oil level, and im not 100% sure but i think your FPR is way too high 50psi is overkill, set it like at 44psi

I had it running at 44 before, and it didnt run right when I was on it. But I will take it apart tomorrow and check the gaskets and screen. What would it look like in there if there was a problem? gunked up?

why jump the pressure wire...why not wire the solenoid up right first? isnt stock fuel pressure like 35psi anyway?

I thought stock was closer to 45. And if I go that low it will sputter out and not run right. It runs good at 50. And as for jumping the wire, the JDM GSR doesnt have a pressure switch. Its safe to run it like this, but your right, it should be swapped out to the right one. I just havent got to that point yet.

To everyone else, case closed. I took it apart, didnt see anything in there, but when I put it back on, it worked fine. So I must have done something that it liked. Thanks all
