Default Distributor clicking noise on cold start 98 gsr

Evertime i warm up my car on cold start i hear this clicking kind of grindin noise on my distributor but then couple mins later when the car is warm it goes away.
Its a brand new distributor put on like 2-3 weeks or so.
What could it be thanks alot

I had the same problem with my LS, i swaped the cap/wheel from my b16 dizzy and it went away.

bump for same problem...searched google and it says that the rotor is hitting the metal tips on the distributor cap but i replaced and no luck

more than likely a bearing is bad inside the distributor.

i suspected that, but it costs a lot to replace the whole housing.
