Default how do you jump the prelude

where's that diagnostic plug for the 94 preludes----i've been trying to find it and trying to jump that thing..but all i found is a 4 pin brown connector down behind the stereo console.....if that brown plug is the diagnostic code checker..then which 2 whole should i stick things in....???

i have a CEL that's been bothering me.....plus the oil light keeps coming on whenever i come to a slow stop....flashing at times....oil is not low at all...could it be the oil sensor is bad???

thanks

It's the blue, 2-pin connector behind the radio.

^not nescessarily, only if your oil light flickers....if it just starts to blink, thats usually because of low oil.

Low oil pressure. If it the cel pops up when you have lots of oil in it, than theres a problem with the moving of the oil

i was thinking of a faulty sensor...but could be the movement of oil.....like i said before...oil light flashes onlie when i come to a slow stop....and then stays flashing for a little while or til engine is shut off. could be the faulty sensor because the guy who swap the engine just threw in an oil sensor from some other vehicle...and he did the wiring himself....might think about replacing the oil sensor 1st to see if its a faulty sensor....if not..then i'll try oil changes 1st....

Sounds like its wired crappy. Try replacing the sensor and the wiring.
