Icon3 Oil light on, no vtec, changed oil 2 days ago, oil allegedly full.

How would I found out were a cel would be Cuz my oil light is on and VTEC isn't working but I have plenty of oil in my car I jus changed the oil two days ago

U gotta read the FAQ on how to pull the code. Heck, just YouTube it.. Then fix the cel first .

Moved to your own thread. Bumbing old threads is typically frowned upon.

Also, check your oil level. Assuming it's properly filled now when you did an oil change 2 days ago with your oil light on is asking for problems.

Verify the oil level is correct.

Also. DON'T DRIVE THE CAR, until you get that oil light problem solved.

Failure to heed this last warning will quite likely cost you your engine. Which in turn usually means scrapping the car for most people.

You can verify your CEL works by turning the key to the on position. The CEL (yellow engine) light should light up for 2 seconds then go off after the fuel pump finishes priming.

And lastly, report what make model year and trim of car you are talking about. I can only assume you have the same 2000 Si as the old thread you bumped.

oil pump? vtec oil pressure switch? low oil levels? wrong dipstick? leaking oil pan? leaking vtec solenoid? leaking oil PERIOD?
