The last time the dealer serviced my Element, they put the wrong air filter in! It is a full inch too short and also too large in diameter to snugly fit the mount. For umpteen thousand miles now I've been sucking unfiltered air down my engine. The throttle body looks like a dumpster. Gee, I wonder if that could be causing my TPS Code?

There is no way they put the wrong filter in...there is only one style filter that goes in the housing that is used for the elements and crvs...they just might of not properly mounted it.
