Walbro 255 vs. 255 hp?
what difference does it really make on which one you get, i know one is "high pressure" but does it make a dramatic lag in performance if you over do it...pretty much i just bought the hp and im not running a turbo, so am i over doing it or is that no big deal?
You should have no problem as long as you get an adjustable pressure regulator cuz a stock one will blow out from excess pressure, the benefits of a high flow pump only show after you've done more than basic bolt ons

Plenty of folks over in the F/I forum have taken there's up to VERY high numbers without changing it out.
I guess I'm the only one that had a problem with a fpr we had a b16 being fed by a walbro, that intermittently would bog badly bellow blue smoke that smelled like pure gas and ultimatly burst a fuel line. . . .but I guess that's just me

Your base fuel pressure will go up. This normally isn't a problem when you get your car tuned by a competent tuner. However, there was a recent thread that mentioned saturated RC750 injectors not functioning properly at high pressures. RC told me to keep them below 70 total psi. Since you have these injectors, I think it's important for you to get an adjustable FPR so you can lower the pressure. Don't waste your time doing the Endyn trick by drilling a small hole in the stock FPR.
and you would only want to raise the pressure if you were maxing small injectors out.....?
Pretty much, although they might not necessarily be small. It would be better to ask a tuner this question.
does this mean that as you get into boost, the regulator will increase the fuel pressure on the fly? please explain a little more.
All regulators increase fuel pressure. You want one that increases 1psi for every 1psi of boost.</TD></TR></TABLE>
so dr latino I would need a adjustable fpr to get my pressure right on my stock sohc zc then right?because Im running richer than bill gates
