Well to be honest with you. Just putting a cam in isnt going to make give it more power off the bat. to explain it simply, what an aftermarket cam does is let you gain more power by changing the time the intake and exhaust valves open up and how soon and how fast they open up. Just dropping them in wont give you the full potential of the cam. You still have to fine tune the cam with cam gears to find that sweet spot where your engine and the tune likes the cam to be.

So if youre looking to get a cam, be prepared to do cam adjustments to get the full potential. It will get you a bit more power than a stock cam would at the same boost. But dont expect huge gains, until you are really boosting high.

As far as our cams, we've seen gains of 30-40hp at 18psi with changing the cam and fine tuning.

Uhm, these are LS cams we are talking about. I fail to see how a retarded child couldn't design cams that would manifest 30-40 whp in an otherwise stock naturally aspirated LS.

LS cams. non-vtec. b18a/b.

I dont knwo what you are trying to get at. 40hp gain just by changing from stock cams I think is decent.
Aftermarket VTEC turbo cams gain about 100 or so in 30psi setups. 40hp at 18psi with mininal adjustments is a great gain.
