Default engine prep! Any opinons will a helpful

I just put a b16a2 w/ 84k miles into my crx. I have a garret t3 turbo that, my cousin bought for me for my bday, i plan on putting in my car.
so my question is what are the major preparations i need to do to my engine before i put the turbo into my car.

you can slap in on there and not do nothing but alot of times people get head lift so if you got the money i would put a new headgasket and arp head studs.

you have an a2 so you already got dual valve springs but if you can save up the dough some bottom end internals would always be nice. if u plan on a small number like 6-8 lbs then you only need the arp head studs but just to be sure i would redo all the gaskets and get a kometic hg

X2, the bottom is where the work is needed for strength, the top end is for flow....

Tuning from someone who is competent is the key to any turbo build. Anyone can bolt on parts, but not everyone can tune.

search the FI forum, as everyone has their favorites. Some hate Eagle, some swear TunerToys are the best bang for the buck, all sorts of options. FI will have the best info for you though. JJspec runs stock cams, cam gears, and headgaskets in their 9 second civic. I forget how many passes he told me at nopi he had until he blew a headgasket tuning, but the head lifted and caused it, not a faulty gasket. He told me that cometics and the like are actually honda gaskets, even the oversized ones are just cut out larger and are a waste of money. That is his story at least, and he seems to know whats up.
