Oh noooeess!!! My idol is brokenzz!

Your idle could be fluctuating due to the IACV. Remove, clean, re-install.

Also, how do you know its your MAP sensor. Are you getting a CEL? What code?

I sort of have the same issue. Definitely check/clean the IACV and FITV. There are a few good write-ups online. I have to clean mine and see if it's the problem.

Here's a good reference site...

sounds like a vacuum hose is leaking or came off. if you can get a hold of a vac guage and hook that up it will tell u whats goin on. Sometimes in the older accords I have seen the brake booster leak and it causes a major idle problem because it kills the vacuum and the cant idle properly. The vacuum at idle should be like 15 inches of mercury if your car is stock and doesnt have any cams or big time engine work.

agreed, check the vacuum, hook up the gauge to the mani or hell if you can get you hand on one a smoke machine will help with finding a vacuum leak real quick, and also try the iacv.
