hood problem
ok so when i got my car, bout 2 years ago, i've had a hood closing problem, it would close when it felt like it. i bought a new latch, didnt do anything. about 2 months ago i had my car painted and a new hood put on and aligned, took it to Macco, i got what i paid for. now i still have hood problems. The latch hook thingy, lol, is lined up with the hood but it still wont shut.
anyone have any other idea of what i can do, or a site that might tell me how? I also thought about getting another 94-97 accord and just swap out everything in the engine ive done

try spraying some wd40 on the spring mechanism to free it up. also, where did you get the replacement latch? if it was from a junkyard then there is a chance that one was no good.
Take a picture of what you're talking about since what you said didn't make that much sense.
Is it still popped up? If so I wouldn't be driving the thing around, especially highway speeds.
Is it just not aligned right?
Does the hood popper on the inside work?
etc

kinda hard 2 take a pic of it, cuz everything looks normal and fine
i bought the latch off T.A.S.com. after i got it back from macco the top of the latch was hitting the hood, so i put some spaces in the latch to move the latch closer to the middle....didnt do anything lol
i thought about hood pins or just getting a new car, cuz i have more little problems with this car
