Hood Latch Failure Damage
It's a long story, so I'll try to boil it down.
I bought a crx off of CL with a messed up hood and windshield.
Previous owner said hood flipped up on him on highway.
I figured the hood and windshield took the brunt of the damage and I didn't have much to worry about.
Put a new(ish) hood on that I also got off CL and there are some alignment issues.
Other than destroying the hood and windshield, what are some other areas to keep an eye on that could have been damaged to the point of requiring repair by a hood latch failure at highway speeds?

Sad to say it happened to me as well driving home an 1988 DX I bought..There ia alot to be said for hood pins..Mine ruined the hood and windshield and sprung the hinges..
I'm thinking my alignment issue is due to messed up hinges, but I discovered last night that my front core support is pretty beat up and my t-bar is entirely unusable (I found it in the trunk) so I guess I've got my work cut out for me.
