ls/vtec and Turbonetics T3 ok?
b18a bottom, JE 9:1, eagle rods, in process of doing vtec swap 94 gsr and I have a T3 here and was wondering if I should get a bigger turbo like a T3/T4? It will be tuned at 10-12psi
If the bottom end is built, there's no reason to have such low goals. Secondly, when you're grouping "T3/T4" that doesn't tell us anything because there is a lot of variation in that grouping.
What are your POWER goals and what is your budget??

he means if you're getting pistons and rods your set up should be able to withstand much more psi than 10-12 reliably providing a good tune...you're cutting yourself short...

i can make 400whp with that turbo/set up reliably, provided the tune is good?
Im also looking at mild p&p, skunk2 IM and should I get a bigger TB? Worth the gains? Thanks for the info all

With the setup you listed, you should be able to run 400whp all day every day on a good tune. As for the intake manifold, dont waste your money on a Skunk2, spend the extra $$ and get an Edelbrock.
To answer your question about the TB, you should read this thread. Find my post about 3/4 down the page and then read from there on...

Thanks lots of good info there
I should have this all done by early Feb.
How much boost can thiis set up handle safely....but still pushing her a bit?
I see you got the HP IM on your gsr...hows that?

I would say that 400whp would be a good number to stay at. You're not going to risk sleeve failure at that power level, but you'll have enough get-up to have some fun

It works really well and flows great in the upper RPMs. I used to sell them through "MiamiDamian" who's now at TD AutoWorks. They're great manifolds, but ONLY for the GSR head.
