What are your goals for this project? Daily driver? How much power do you want? Etc.

Tell and then answers will arise.

The (d16)y8 intake manifold would help you out a bit if you can get your hands on one. 450CC injectors are plenty for your application. DSM blue/black-tops will work well. I'd also purchase a 255lph hi pressure walbro fuel pump. Proven dyno gains and it will replace your tired old stock pump. Get a stage 2 Exedy clutch or the equivalent (stage 1 is crap for turbo'd civic's), and a resurfaced flywheel. Some people would argue that a lighter flywheel will get your rev's up faster, but a heavier wheel will keep the rev's up for a longer period of time. Resurfacing your stock steel flywheel is cheaper than buying a new name brand one anyways, around $40.

You can easily make reliably make 250WHP-ish no problems, depending on the turbo kit you purchase. I would also upgrade from your stock exhaust and get a (NOT crush-bend) mandrel bend 2.5 inch exhaust from the cat-back. If you don't have emissions standards, you should also get a test pipe, you will notice a bit of difference from the stock cat.

Because they are a huge pile of fail. Every time I've gone in there all I get is sarcastic, *******-ish answers. Hard to find good people to answer your questions there.

Trim and A/R size? A t3/t4 turbo will have no problems making 250WHP. Mine is rated for 400WHP @ .57 trim, .63 A/R on exhaust housing side.

I daily drove a y7. Non vtec. Stock motor about 100k miles. With a t3 super 60 @ 15 lbs for over a year, Made 238whp. Only reason it let go was the timing belt. You dont really need to build it for a fun DD. Put the turbo setup on, a good clutch. Y8 intake manifold. And an ex trans. And you will love it.

You do not need to build the head for higher-rev's unless you want to make gobs of power. Yes, an ex/si tranny would really help out, the steel shift forks along with the short gearing is pretty nice for acceleration, although not as bad as the b16 for highway driving. You don't need a boost controller unless you want to run higher than stock boost, which would be the external wastegate spring psi rating.

You must be asking the wrong questions or giving the wrong answers....people aren't really that bad in the FI forum. At least many of the FI regulars know what they're talking about which isn't common in any of the other sub-forums (regarding turbo setups)
