my MAP SENSOR keeps on failing and keeps making my check engine light to come on..i tried several options on trying to fix it..i replaced it about 5 times already and yet the check engine light still keeps on coming on..when I rev it at about 7600 thats whenever the light comes on..I tried reseting the ECU but it still came on...hardwired the wires directly to the ECU and still F*kn comes on...what other options do I have? or what seems to be the problem?

 

Have you swapped recently or something, and the map + tps wires mixed up?

 

Honda map sensors rarely crap out. I'd be looking for a wiring, pin fit, or ecu problem. Might want to check the t-stat ground also.

i just recently did a swap...b18c..im runnin too rich as well... it's not a hard code so im assuming its the map.. but today when i ran it hard the check engine light came on and i turn the ignition off..when i turned it on again it ran sluggish ... i have rewired everything.. i don't think the wires was mixed up coz the car the motor/ecu came off of runs fine... very frustrating coz i can't run the car hard like how i want it to. anything else i can do?
