Default New headgasket??

Finally blew my headgasket... I have a d15b2, but I'm not sure if I should just get an oem replacement for $60 or get a d16a6 cometic headgasket cheaper. Will everything line up with a d16a6 headgasket?

Really? I never thought of doing that. I always thought of using the universal phase detractors would work better.

just replace it with a stock replacement HG

from what ive seen, the d15b2/d16a6 HG is metal layer style. it is a far better HG than the old style.... stronger and easier to replace

oh, and to answer the question, any 88-00 SOHC d16/d15 headgasket will fit and work.
