Maybe the shifter fork?? no way to know unless you get dirty and drop the tranny.

well if you have checked that that fluids are good and nothing else seems to be helping. I guess your only option is to drop it and take it apart to see if there is a broken piece. The problem you described was exactly what a buddy of mine had and it turned out to be a broken shifter fork.

shifter fork moves the gear into place... as for the fluid there are two bolts in the tranny one of them you can put fluid into.. too bad i dont have any pics to show you exactly what you need. but ill try to go and get some snaps for ya....

Ok i got a pic. its not the best of them but hopefully u get an idea as to where to look.

You want to drain the tranny. and refill it with the proper fluid. hopefully that solves the problem so that you wont have to take the tranny apart.

if its a 92-95 chances are its a shift fork there weak if u do a lot of hard down shifting if its busted just get a 96 there stronger

I recently bought a used y1 tranny. shifting from 3rd to 5th because 4th grinded no matter what really bothered me, so i dropped the tranny and opened up the case. found zero clearance between 4th gear and the synchro ring. the teeth on the gear and synchro sleeve are fubared. disassembled the mainshaft and scuffed up the gear cones on 3rd 4th and 5th with 120 grit sandpaper . installed a used 5th gear synchro ring from a usdm a1 on my 4th gear and clearance was restored. reinstalled the tranny and filled it with mobil 10-30 non synthetic. took third gear up to 6k last night and shifted into 4th flawlessly.

check the tranny faqs in the tech forum. d/l a 90-93 integra helms manual. open up your tranny and figure out what's wrong.

you'll need to purcahse 90-91 integra replacement parts for your tranny. good luck
