Forget lowering your car with new parts.

Look for someone's used setup.

A decent setup with lowering springs and good shocks will run about $400-$500 (probably closer to 500), so I suggest you save up longer so you can do it right.

I had a lowered car before I bought my Integra. It sucked driving stock height again, but I saved up for 8 long months so I could get the best OTS shocks money can buy - Koni Sport shocks, along with lowering springs. It was WELL worth it, because I'm still driving on those shocks 6 years later with over 150K miles on them. They're still working great.

Save you cash.

$200 is not enough. You will only have enough for springs or used shocks. The springs will likely kill your stock shocks and the shocks will not lower your car.

Like previously stated, cheap suspensions setups usually do not last long and offer very rough rides.
