Sprint springs you mean? Tokico blues are the shocks...

What are your reasons for lowering the car? Drag setup? Street? Show?

im pretty new with cars so im learning as i go.......i plan on lowering it about 2 inches or more not sure yet...mostly like i said for better handeling on the street maybe some racing and for a better comfortable ride

My friend has tokico blues on his integra and the ride is great so im hoping the same will happen on my car.

Thats a good thread for lowering heights you may want to check out...

For springs, I would say H&R w/ Tokico Illuminas (5 way adj) or Eibach Sports w/ Tokico Illuminas/Koni Yellows.

If you want Coilovers (which is not what I prefer), I would go with Ground Control w/ Illuminas shocks or TEIN Coilovers...these are just my opinion, so everyone else can suck me.

You're already on the ride track if you are looking for a suspension for a better ride quality

Tokico blues arent bad, however you are limited with them as you cannot adjust your comfort settings. The illuminas (White Shocks) are 5 way adjustable and allow you to change for street or track settings.

Oh believe me...you will be addicted before you know it! Just wait until you start making some serious power w/ whatever motor you choose/already have.

yeah.....so with the blues i cant adjust them as much as with the white ones? and what is the price difference in the two?

I just have a D16 right now but have plans probably for next summer to a little something under the hood.....but thats in the future when money comes around!!!

Actually, with the blues you cannot adjust them at all. They are a more mild shock used for the casual street user. However, like i said if you have future plans, your best bet would be to go with the Illuminas or even Koni Yellows

Tokico Illuminas are about $400ish i believe? Koni Yellows are about $500ish...do a search on Google...you have an EJ1 (95 Ex) correct?

just get the koni's if you have future plans, plus they have the million mile warranty. and for only a 50 dollar price difference over the illumina;s they are definitely a better shock with more adjustability. check the marketplace, i found them for 458 shipped. don't remember the thread but if you look hard enough you can find anything on here.

If you lower a car, it won't be nearly as comfortable as stock...just letting you know that.

For a daily driver, or a car that is used quite frequently with no other use than to go to class or go out with friends or get groceries, Tokico Blue's would be a good choice.

But for performance and show, I would highly recommend upgrading to a better shock, ie - Tokico Illumina or Koni Yellow. Illuminas are 5-way adjustable and Koni Yellow's are 32-way adjustable and maybe $50-100 more expensive (total) over Illuminas.

As for springs... Well it all just depends on how much you want to drop.

I hope he knows this.

However, you can make the ride comfortable as hell on some Eibach Sports w/ Koni Yellows That setup by far surpases stock....IMO.

They are alright IMO.

If Im gonna spend money/time on changing my suspension, im going with Koni Yellows or Tokico Illuminas. Thats just my opinion

It's because you were a trial user...just part of the sign up rules.

Same thing goes for the 99 ex...any ideas what you want to go with?
