Default Civic Steering wheel lock

So i want to put in a psuh button start in my civic, and not have to use the key to start it. How can i get ride of the key lock setup so it does not lock up the wheel without having the key in it? I have searched and no one wants to give up an answer.
Thanks
Rudy

if you don't use a key, how would you turn the car off?

im pretty sure your going to need your key for the acc function, but if not, try running a wire to your starter from a momentary switch(push button switch)

the only way for it to stay unlocked would be if you removed the whole ignition off the steering column

pry out the gold plug and a spring and the lock rod will fall out. the steering will not lock anymore.
