Default O2 Sensor differences

What are the main differences between Honda O2 sensors? I am looking for a sensor for my cat (97 Civic DX), and want to know if I can just bolt any Honda O2 sensor, for example, can I put a primary from a EX into the secondary one for a DX. I checked on-line and all the sensors have different part numbers. Just want to know for sure before I go out buying stuff that won't do me any good.

I believe the wire lengths are different. But don't hold me to that.

I mean universal O2 sensors can be used as a primary or secondary.

Default Cheap sensors okay?

I want to change my O2 sensor 'cause I'm getting bad milage.
What is the difference between a $30 sensor and a $60 sensor?
I want to change mine out but dunno what I need to get. Budget's tight and if the cheap one works and lasts then...
