...: Few Head Gasket ?'s :...
Just a few questions before i tackle the d15 head gasket project . . .
1.) What all gaskets/ seals should I replace ?
- head gasket
- valve seals
- valve cover seal
- spark plug rings
- cam seal
- anything else ?
2.) Any reason not to use the Felpro gaskets from Autozone ?
3.) Anything else I'll need ie. oil change or spark plugs ?
I'll be using the Haynes manual. Any advice or tips would be appreciated.
Thanks

I'll probly end up getting the kit that also comes w/ the intake, and exhaust gaskets, and possibly the TB and water pump.
Anyone ? Just looking for a double check before I get into this ?
Thanks

I would use the factory head gasket upgrade kit. This new head gasket can be re used and the new style bolts have been re designed with spiral shafts to prevent stretching. Good Luck.
In for second opinions too....
91 CRX DX here, I'm looking to do a :
- Head Gasket
- Timing belt
- Waterpump
Probably should do cam seals, valve cover gaskets, intake / exhaust gaskets?

I found it alot cheaper to get the Cam Seal, Valve Stem Seals, valve cover seal, and spark plug rings OEM from hondaautomotiveparts.com, for some reason autozone wanted $54 for the valve seals and they're only $1.03 a piece for OEM
I read something about the OEM head gaskets for our year cars not being as "good" so I went w/ the felpro from autozone, i'm not sure if the OEM one has been updated or if thats even true

Well, the OEM headgaskets are fine, the only problem is that they are made of composite material, so when you have to change them there is alot of material to scrape off. Plus, they are not as strong when you start going forced induction.
I would just upgrade to an OEM D16Z6 or D16Y8 headgasket. They are three layer metal gaskets.

You mean yield to torque bolts: one time use only, buddy.
