Default Engine selection help...PLEASE

I want to buy a new engine for my car so that I can build on the side and get good internals... i was thinking just going ahead and buying the same engine I have now D16Y8 and doing a sleeve kit, good internals and eventually turboing it... then I thought what if I do an LS block with a B18 head and then turbo that... but with that problem I will have to worry more about it being stolen... give me some opinions please... I need help

Either I just dropped acid, or I read a post so confusing I now am seeing colors and a big red floating unicorn told me this thread sucks.

THIS IS NOT HARD JUST DEPENDS ON WHAT KIND OF POWER YOU AR LOOKING FOR. I NOW OF AND AM A PROUD OWNER OF A SINGE CAM TURBO. D16Z6 UP GRADED INTERNALS (TOP SECRET) AND A SC61 TURBOCHARGER. ITS ALL A CUSTOM SETUP BUT IT GETS THE JOB DONE FOR WHAT I WANT IT FOR. BUT IF YOU WANT TO GO FOR THE FRANKINSTIEN THEN THATS ALSO A GREAT WAY TO GET A LOT OF POWER BUT THE WAY YOU WORDED IT THE LS WITH THE B18 HEAD. WOAW.THE BEST COMBO WITH THE B SERIES (CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG) IS THE B18C1A BLOCK WITH THE B16A HEAD MY BRO HAS THAT WITH A TWIN TURBO SET UP AND HE IS PUSHING 22 PSI!! WHICH EVER WAY YOU DECIDE TO I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU GET THE FUNDS FOR AN ALARM ASAP. IT WILL SAVE YOU FROM SOME ONE STEELING IT AS QUICK AS IF IT DID NOT HAVE ONE,CAUSE YOUR GONA BE DROPPING SOME SERIOUS CASH INTO EITHER SET UP. GOOD LUCK MAN I HOPE THIS HELP A BIT IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER?JUST POST THEM AND I TRY AND ANSWERING THE BEST I CAN.

Holy ****.

If this is the prime example of what to expect from 08, then the red unicorn has its work cut out for it.

It is your decision. It is your car. Please build what you want. You will have to research each swap to know if it is good for you.

D16z6
D16y8
LS
LS/VTEC
B20
B20/VTEC
K20
K20a
K24
K24/K20 head
H22

There is a list of possible swaps that are common, all can be forced induction or NA. Now that you know what is out there you can begin your research.

Yes, start saying your prayers now.
