Does cam gear advance show up with timing light?
If I have my base ignition timing set to 16 according to the marks on the crank pulley, and then I advance my intake cam gear 2 deg, will my timing at the crank pulley show up as 16 or 18?
I know moving the intake cam gear will affect my ignition timing, but will I be able to see it with the timing light?

yes.
it's directly correlated.
on the crank pulley, if the center mark is @ 16, and you advance the cam sprocket 2 degs, it def will show up on the advanced line on the crank pulley, so it'd be 18* btdc.
that is why it's best to set ign timing after cam sprocket adj.
