Made that run on dunlop SP Sport 185/65 R14s. 7psi boost, 30psi tire pressure.

I got the car tuned for 10psi as well. With a little more traction, and 10psi do high 12's sound possible???

 

yeah, 12's are possible....

you need to invest in some slicks

 

I am thinking that....but then an LSD would be great also...and traction bars, and.....the list goes on.

 

Yeah 12's are possible with that MPH.....all you need is traction. Your 60 foot time doesn't look that bad tho????

Good trap speed.the 60 is decent,where you spinning bad though,I am assuming so with those tires.

That's a damn good 60' , considering you were on street tires set @ 30 psi. My best is a 2.1 on streets @ 20psi.......

ok...check this out...i have a 4dr civic 91 w/crvtec pushing 211whp 158.4tq
now my ? is when i first ran the car i ran a 13.0 @ 105 other runs where around 13.0-5 but all at 104-05mph...i ran 24" slicks..then i changed them to 22" and my traps were like 99-103mph did i screw up by going to smaller slicks?

 

HXMan - you finally got the oil leak fixed?

 

all u need is traction. thats a high 12 low 13 second trap speed. u need tires not traction bars or more boost. based on the 60, 1/8 and 1/8th trap speed, looks like the top end gears pull hard but u are lackin in the bottom end. 80 mph is decent but should b more around 84 but ur top end 3rd/4th gear must pull hard as hell. 104 is an excellent trap speed.

 

Oil leak fixed.

Yea, I get some spin on the top of first gear, around 6500 or 7000 it breaks loose, and then shifting semi nice into second I get wheel spin. Third pulls hard as hell, forth is nice. Traction is pretty much the number one thing I need. With the relativly low torque of my b16, I think with a bigger, stickier tire, wheel spin in first won't be much of a problem anymore, and the spin into second will become shorter.

 

With a 2.0 60ft you should see 13.3 or better Nice MPH, with slicks you should hit 12's!

ur right there HXman. i hear awesome things about the new BFG force drag TAs. i love my NITTOS also. if u dont wanna break parts, try a pair of these. if u wanna really step up get axles and slicks.

 

I am thinking about a set of BFG force drag TAs. I don't want to go to slicks, and beefier axels. Breaking trannys is not up my ally. I am more interested in what my car will run on the street, another reason to not get slicks. I don't participate in organized street racing, but if someone wants to run me stoplight to stoplight I am down.
