Need a time slip eval
I know it should have gone faster because of the trap speed because I've run hondas that went low 14s before and they never went that fast, but the spinning street tires didnt help. anyway:
r/t .639
60' 2.279
330 6.384
1/8 9.532
mph 78.74
1000 12.186
1/4 14.387
mph 104.2
Hopefully I'll have slicks by next week. BTW, thats with minimal haltech tuning and only 6psi. and the shittiest street tires i could possibley have had on.
thanks,
Jared

Looks to me like you were trying hard to feather the throttle and not spin it until the very end of second and you finally punched it in the beginning of third? That 60 is actually pretty good for regular street tires.

Re: Need a time slip eval (Jared)
thats a really wierd time, u must have launched good (2.2 is good for shitty street tires) and then started spinning after the 60ft. cause your 60ft and mph do not add up to that ET at all.. I used to run 14.1 @ 102 w/ a 2.4 60ft. got drag raidals, turned up the boost 2 psi and ran 13.3 @ 104 w/ a 2.0.. get some good tires on that car and u will run mid 13's.

Yeah, I was actually trying to feather it out good, but then when it comes on boost it breaks loose so I'm not sure if feathering out hurt me or helped me.

Re: Need a time slip eval (DIRep972)
Hmm... that is a weird one...
The 60' time isn't that bad; especially for street tires. I'm thinkin' DIRep972 could be right or maybe you bogged a little early off, (then the power came on and started spinning after the 60' mark?) and that hurt your 1/8 mile time and mph. Looks like you made up lots of ground on the 2nd half of the track. I'm guessin' with that mph, you can pull mid to low 13s on those same tires and 12s on slicks.
Did you make any other runs for comparison?

Re: Need a time slip eval (Jared)
Here's my run in a car similar to yours. Shitty street tires also.
r/t 1.373
60' 2.281
330' 5.879
1/8 8.820
mph 83.59
1000 11.358
1/4 13.512
mph 104.5
You could defenitely hit low 13's with good tires.
