I swear i wasn't drinking but...
I'm really mad right now, after i got back from downtown Portland (OR) I found a long dent (about a meter long around passenger side quarter panel) and slightly under the passenger door handle. I was looking at a video on how to DIY but i don't trust my own skills and possibly could make things worst. How much do you guys think it would take to repair it? Anybody here from portland oregon that can recommend me a reputable shop that would do it at a reasonable cost? Heres a picture (will take a better one in the day when i have time) Dont ask me what happened because seriously I DONT KNOW LOL and like title says, i didn't drink or anything.

Pictures arent great but i can tell theres gonna have to be a some studs welded on to pull it. Meaning grinding, painting the whole 9. Call up the insurance cause your gonna need it
It's hard to tell from those pictures (rain, lighting, etc.) but a paintless dent removal shop should be able to remove those no problem. Check around your area for them, they use a combo of rods, and pokers and whatnot to reshape the metal without having to repaint anything. I work at a shop that does it here in Virginia and some of the dents he can fix are remarkable.

damn that sucks. to be honest if you were to take your car to the shop where i work thats a easy good $2500 + repair. but then again i dont work for a moms and pops shop i work for a DRP collision shop
Dent wizard man! Read my previous post! Spend 200-400 dollars and have the original paint and no bullshit bondo and whatnot. As for the blue stuff, that is paint transfer, grab a rag soaked in lacquer thinner and wipe it against it. Don't be afraid of removing the paint, it won't hurt it as long as you don't hold it against it.
well, or use a clay bar for the paint xfer
i had HELLA white overspray all over my black tahoe, clay bar FTMFW, that thing is like presidential motorcade status yo lol

Ok so I haven't been able to catch up on what you guys are saying (work and school sucks) Also no time to go to body shops for cost estimates. I'm broke so probably wont be able to fix the dent for a while. In the mean time, I wanna get that blue stuff off. How much is this lacquer thinner stuff? Rubbing compound wont work? I can pick up rubbing compound for like $3. If I need to spend too much just to get the blue stuff off then might as well hold it off for later. As I said IM BROKE

Damn, that sucks. Something like that happen to my car, but wasnt that big. Found a small metal roller and went at it in back of the metal. I dont even know what a metal roller is used for. But it did press back the metal that was pushed in.
