Default Headlight Woes

Driver side wasn't working. I checked all the wires and redid some of them that looked iffy. I turned on the lights, the drivers side brights worked but the low beams didn't, Im assuming bad bulb. But then after they were on for about 2 minutes the drivers side just shuts off, not high or low beam. I get in the car and check them. I try both, neither works. I now notice that the high beam indicator doesn't show that the high beams are on, yet they/it was. Any help with this weirdness or what could cause it would be great.

Ps this is on a 98 ex.

would that cause the dash light to stop working? it's only the light for the brights. nothing else. also, what could cause the light just to go out?

Its likely the fuse if it is not the bulb.

in my car the fuse for the headlights is different than the dashlights and low beams and high beams also have different fuses.

check your ground ethan. on my buddies teg, his dash lights kept blowing fuses. turns out the jack *** who installed his stereo, left a hot wire stripped and it was grounding out, popping fuses. just check the simple stuff first. if you need anything, you know where i live.

p.s. when do i get to shoot the new ride?
