This car is unvailable in the US unless you can find one or import one from Canada. I bought it from a woman who moved here with it from Canada. She had all of the maintanence up to date including the timing belt and water pump at It is registered in Texas. It's been my trouble free daily driver for over 2 years. The car only spent one winter in Canada, there is no rust on the car. It has been garaged since I've owned it and I've kept all of the fluids changed. The only thing I've had to replace on the car was the battery. The tires are new Dunlop Direzza DZ101's with 1,000 miles on them. The wheels are 15 x 7 Rota Slips. I got tired of the flat black so I hade them Diamond Cut and powder clear coated professionally at my work. They also have machined Acura center caps. The springs are Tein S-Tech (1.8" drop) with Tokico blues.The springs have about 2 years on them and the struts have about 4 months on them. This setup rides close to stock. Everything is aligned. The egine is completely stock. There are three models of EL...base, sport, and premium. This EL is a sport which comes with 15" alloys (which I still have), power locks and windows, heated mirrors, and CD. This car is in great shape for its age, I was going to do Motor and 5 spd swap if I ever had an engine or tranny problem but never did. I need to sell this car because I need a vehicle that can pull a trailer. The car runs and drives great. I would drive it anywhere.

There are a few things wrong:
paint is chipped on the top the rear bumper where it meets the trunk
slow oil leak, like 3 drops a day...about 1/2 qt in 3,000 miles
Paint is touched up in 2 quarter sized spots from a factory bug deflector that I removed...I still have the bug deflector
Pinhole exhaust leak on header

im in canada right now and i see them all over the place . tail lights on all the el's look pretty COOL

 

looks like a civic, accord and a RL, had a 3 some. That is there baby. Bump for a car not seen that often in tx.

if it had lower miles i'd pick it up today lol.

there is a family in Richland Hills with an EL...very clean car.

 

i have a baby girl, so that makes my family a proud EL owners aswell
