Possible Purchase: 1986 Acura legend 2.5L 24V (pics)
Hey guys, I found this 1986 Acura legend for sale in Virginia
2.5L 24V, Auto, A/C, cruise, P.sunroof, P. Morrors, P. windows. P locks
1st year ever made
Dealer is asking $4300 (I offered $3000 AS IS)
Seems like a great reliable rare car.
PROS:
It only has 47,000 orig miles (75,000 km)
2 OWNERS
ORIGINAL PAINT
NO RUST AT ALL
CONS:
NO SERVICE RECORDS/HISTORY
NO FLOORMATS
NO OWNERS MANUAL
PRICE
BAD FUEL ECONOMY 17 MPG City / 22 MPG Highway
What do you think ? I need it for winter.
heres some pics

Looks to be in great shape and I think for $3k it would be a decent deal considering how few miles are on it.
With the age something like the water pump or timing belt might concern me a little if it was my car (and that would add some cost to the car if you were to replace those after you bought it).
Other than the lack of safety features, I think that would be a car I would enjoy driving as a daily driver (I enjoyed my 89 Accord which was my first Honda), but to each their own.
