Default Little problem with window.

Hello,

Okay so heres my problem, My driver side window goes down like its suppose too but the auto feature does not work any more. For example i press on it to make the window go down/up on auto it doesnt so am forced to hold it down or up to move the window. Any one have any suggestions. By the way its an Rsx type s and it is under warranty, but if theirs a quick fix to avoid going through the dealer that would be nice.

If its under warranty you should take it to the dealer.

1) Disconnect the battery.
2) Wait 1 minute.
3) Reconnect battery.
4) Turn ignition to on position.
5) Push down window button until the click and HOLD it down until the glass is all the way down and release it.
6) Pull up on the switch until the click and HOLD it until the glass is all the way up and release it.

Done! You have just reset your AUTO window.

On a side note; has anyone modded their window switches to make both the driver and passenger windows AUTO down/up? The AUTO feature is in the switch, so if I disassemble two window switches and build one with both AUTO switches, what do you think?

i have close to the same problem, auto-down is perfect, auto-up, just goes up half way then goes back down, its so annoying i want to break my whole window out everytime it happens, i'll try john's idea and see if it works

it sounds like you need a new window switch, the instructions above are for your auto not working at all like after you disconnect your battery or something along those lines.
