Ok i have a boosted B16 on 8 psi. A few days ago i swaped the tps sensor for another one, and my check light went away, until i went for a drive. At high rpms it comes on then goes off. I then thought the volts for the tps are wrong, so i checked it again and it read at wide open throttle 4.53 or 63 can't remember. Then this morning while driving to work, it came on and stayed. But when i tried to pull a code. There is none. Weird. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks for your help guys.

So you're sure it's throwing a TPS code and not some other code? What does the code say? Generally the TPS will throw a code if it sees something close to 0 or 5 volts, but the normal voltages are between .5 and 4.5.

Not sure, im assuming it is. My wideband is at innovative getting repaired right now. Im sure its a tab bit rich, but not too much. Ill try to set the tps at excatly 4.5 and go from there.
When your check engine light comes on with the engine running and goes away when you shut it off, do this to pull your code:
1. Leave engine running, put in neutral with brake on while on level ground for 5 speed or park on auto car.
2. Go over to the passenger side and find your CEL check harness.
3. Jumper the 2 wires.
4. Count your light to determine what code(s) you have.
5. Remove jumper and go on your way.
Do this and let us know what you come up with. I've always kicked around putting a switch on a wire that plugged into the service check connector on a problematic car. That way, you can just flip the switch while driving and trouble shoot it. HOwever, there's really no need since you can check it with the car running and you can typically fix the problem pretty quickly.

Ok i did it this morning like you stated, it reads code 1. o2 sensor. Weird, i just replaced it before i left Cali. Ill check my settings in Crome and look at the o2 sensor. I know i have a exhaust leak right by the o2 sensor. Could that be it also? I was trying to wait till i upgrade to 3 in
didnt read the whole post...does your tune include a CEL shift light? and i ran my car for months open header and didnt get a CEL for the primary o2. hope this helps

Nope, i didn't install one, HMM! I'll have to see. Maybe the sensor is bad. Auto zone sells them right? Where can i find a good one for a good price? And while driving normal also it came on too.
