Default Re: moly additive in trans (Probot)

sorry for being very vague...im not exactly sure what fluid is in my trans at the moment..and yea i know i should be aware of it, my mechanic that put my trans in said this morning that he used something with moly in it (couldnt really understand what he said cause of his german accent) - but to give a little info about my situation, ONLY when i accelerate the trans makes a bit of noise..kind of like a whirring noise in resemblance to an ISB going bad..and i was wondering if the moly additive could be causing this, he said he used a "Better" trans fluid, im assuming maybe something that might be used in some kind of autox or race trans fluid...really hoping that my ISB isn't bad.

so yea, just kind of hoping at the moment that if i put MTF in the trans if it would help the problem.
