HELP! My Power Steering tank is STUCK! How do you..
I am trying to install my HIDS. I got the passenger side done with no problems. Now I am trying to install the driver side. I have absolutely NO ROOM to get in. So I tried removing the PS tank but it's impossible to get out. It is attached to those 2 think hoses and if I pull any harder it looks like they are gonna snap/bend/break.
Is there a special way to remove the tank? Please help, thanks.

yeah just pull up i never seen that stuck before
^^^ wat they said..but your not gonna be able to take it completely off w/o taking the hoses off but it'll come up and move to the side a bit, enough to have room to play with
Sorry guys I should have used a better term. Not stuck as in STUCK to the holder.. but stuck as in not able to get up and out of the way, because of the 2 hoses that come off the reservoir. I pull and pull but if I pull any hard it seems like I am going to break the hoses. I don't want PS fluid going everywhere.
I can pull the tank up to about the top of the bracket, but it won't go any further. This still leaves me almost no room at all.
Ughh..
Any other suggestions?

you really dont have any other options but to remove the tank if ya really need to get in there....just disconnect the hoses and refill it before you start that car........just plug the bottom hole off when ya pull the hose off

Yes.
It's called drain it into a container to avoid a mess when you disconnect the lines.
And make sure you refill it with power steering fluid specifically for Honda and Acura vehicles. Honda uses a special PS fluid.

So is it common to remove the PS tank and whatnot when doing something as simple as a bulb change?
In the manual it says to just lift it up but I don't see how that would work.
Well I guess I'll try to mess with it a bit tomorrow and see what happens.

No.
I've changed dozens of bulbs without ever moving the PS reservoir.
But you're not changing a bulb.
Why not just take the bumper off and remove the headlight if you dont want to mess with the PS lines?

Would that be easier ya think?
I'm kinda a noob, so I don't know where the nuts/bolts etc are for the bumper.

It will certainly be less messy.
The bumper cover is held on with a handful of pop-up clips. You have to pop the centers up with a flathead screwdriver to remove them. You may break a few, but any Honda dealership will carry them for between a dollar and a dollar fifty apiece.
There are also two bolts underneath the front end, and one bolt on each side holding the bumper cover flush with the fender.
