ENGINE DIED WONT START
I drive a 97 ek swapped ls/vtec civic. its also boosted, anyways, i was driving normal on the highway for about 10 min and my car just died on me. my oil pres light was on for about 3 days, but i didnt think that would have that much affect on things...umm i herd a pop noise like something blew off but i didnt see anyhting off hand, so i towed it back to my house and its sitting in my garage. Does anyone know whats going on with my car? the engine will want to turn but it doesnt sound like its getting any fuel, or maybe it is im really not too sure, please help thanks...

i would start right there..... you heard a pop, car just dies, and now it sounds like its not getting fuel..... jack it up and go through everything in the bay and under the car.... one of the best ways to check for loose or leaking hoses, it to actually run your hand down the hose, from end to end...(you're working in a tight space with a honda, but it can be done....) make sure all your hoses are good....

This is a joke, right? You drive a boosted car, and your oil pressure warning light came on, and you failed to pay attention to it?

no, just lazy.
And for laziness on a boosted car, he gets a motor that is probably seized up on the inside. Thats what you get when you look at your oil pressure warning light (after a few days) and think.... no biggy
