Maybe your right I don't know.

There should be because when you change wheels and tires the size could be different.

Normally OEM equipment and computers won't let you do that. I've seen it on some aftermarket plug-n-play type things for domestic trucks, but that's about it.

I think its like, if you go over 20% of the factory recommended over all height then it thows it off some.

As it stands with OEM parts for honda, the VSS cannot be recalibrated.

Wow lots of replies.

Thanx Kuja396 for the link it helps me get a more accurate detail on the difference. I actually thought it was 5 mph off but its not off as much as I thought.
I was basing my calculations by the speed signs that show mph. So I think those radars in the signs are inaccurate, but that doesn't surprise me

Peace Happy New Year to all at H-T

Yeah those signs always show about 5 mph off for me in any car I've been in.

Yeah, next time I'm going with 205 45 16

This is what the tire/rim calculator tells me.
185/65-14 being my stock sizes. You can see there is a much bigger difference with the 40 series then the 45 series tires.

(Comparison with my current setup)
Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
185/65-14, 4.7in, 11.7in, 23.5in, 73.7in, 859, 0.0%
205/40-16, 3.2in, 11.2in, 22.5in, 70.5in, 898, -4.3%

************************************************** ****************

(Comparison with 45 series tires)
Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
185/65-14 4.7in, 11.7in, 23.5in, 73.7in, 859, 0.0%
205/45-16 3.6in, 11.6in, 23.3in, 73.1in, 867, -0.9%

Once again thanx Kuja.

EDIT:
P.S. I hate when you post some thing how you want, then once you post it squishes words all around.
