Default poping/clicking sound whenever i step on gas or make a turn

poping/clicking sound whenever i step on gas especially when i start the car on a green light on first gear or make a turn, axle needs to be replace? it is only coming from driver side axle, cause passenger side axle is brand new.
and when i hand exam the driver side axle by shaking it.i can hear small click sound, and it moves, axle nut is tight.
and it is a b16a swap eg hatch. thanks

I don't know too much about swaps in vehicles meaning like the different lengths in axles. But when that happened to my last civic, it was infact the axle. The boot had cracked and water got into it , and the grease came out and ruined it. So I just had it reaplaced.

take a look at your motor mounts too. could cause engine/tranny to shift to the point where its pulling or pushing the axle out of its place

and i just went to auto parts store to pick up a brand new driver side axle with life time warranty for $80 plus tax, not remanufactured. and i am doing the axles swap tomorrow and i will post the pic later.
should have used the brand new axle at the time when i did the swap, instead i used a old one from my friend's dc integra..stupid stupid

Yeah, so I've got two ripped boots (both axles) and leaking trans seals. I know how you feel!

thats why i think its best to replace both axles when u have to replace one just pay the extra money for both sides plus cant u turn in the old one and they discount some money off the one ur buying?
