ITS YOUR CAR! do what you want with it. In my opinion switchign your car to all jdm **** is stupid. just have one shipped here and bam all In one package. probally cheaper too if your going fully jdm. engine tranny. lights interior exterior mods. and so forth

Like already mentioned spent what ever you want on you car.
Like anything, if your patient, look for a deal and by select parts over a peroid of time. Also, jdm parts are not the end all be all of desired items. Many ppther markets have cool parts too like Austriala, or Europe

If you really want to go hard, as also already mentioned, why not just import a whole car? I did, here's my ragtop Celica GTR

The only person who can decide if it's "worth it" is you, and unfortunately you're not going to find out until you do it. Also, I dunno where you got those prices...

...but damn if you're willing to pay that much, you'll find that it was NOT worth it when you find those same parts at a fraction of the cost. Most times you'll find the entire front end for about $800 give or take.

i am building a si-r crx, and yeah, it would be "easier" to just buy a whole car. but if you have more time than money, you could do it cost effectively.

if you do a si-r front end swap, you have your stock hood, bumper, headlights that you can sell to help offset some of the cost.

I'll tell you what though, be careful. people know that si-r parts are popular. there are a lot of beat up parts out there. I've run into a number of issues with used parts. if you start having to buy parts over again, it could get expensive.

i dont know man. I dont think its worth it. I used to. But just think. Some front turn signals that go another 3 inches around the bumper for a coupe houndrd buck? Not worth it.

A rear fog light? who cares?

right hand drive? Just import a car if you really want that. Its not worth all the money if you cant do it yourself... (the right way)

glass roof. Its cool and all, but is it worth the money? probly not. Btu I have looked into it before.

Some power window switches? No. not worth it. And unless you have RHD your passenger will be in control of it. lol.

So unless yo uare willing to spend thousands, its not really worth it. I would say just put it into the motor and be happy with the speed.

and you can even put that extra money into a new paint job and be content.

But as stated above. Its all up to what you thin.
